At OTT SCITT we have recently delivered a Physical Education (PE) session to our Primary Associate Teachers. The session emphasised the importance of fostering creativity, teamwork and lifelong physical activity in primary education. The day was packed with hands-on activities and insightful discussions focused on practical strategies for teaching PE in the classroom.
We looked at effective methods for promoting inclusive physical activity and how to adapt lessons for students of all abilities. By integrating games that build teamwork and communication, the session inspired endless possibilities for PE teachers to make a meaningful impact.
Associate Teachers were able to participate in activities, which they could take back to their placement schools, with games and exercises designed to improve motor skills and encourage positive social interaction, whilst keeping pupils engaged.
We are confident our Associate Teachers left inspired and ready to bring fresh energy to their classrooms, ensuring every child has access to high-quality, engaging PE!
